Roman Flavius Victor - Roma - Siliqua

Circa 387-388 AD, Milan. Obv: DN FL VIC-TOR PF AVG legend, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: VIRTVS RO-MANORVM legend, Roma seated facing on throne, head left, holding globe and inverted spear; mintmark MDPS in exergue. Extremely fine, about as struck, very rare.(1.71 grams.).

From the Filey Hoard, Yorkshire, UK in 2009; disclaimed under Treasure Act, 1996, reference 2009:T286.
