ROMAN EMPIRE - VERY RARE CARACALLA - FATHER AND SON DENARIUS
(Silver, 3.18 grams, 18.99 mm.).

Rome. 199-200 AD. Obv: ANTONINVS AVGVSTVS, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of young Caracalla right. Rev: AETERNIT IMPERI, laureate, draped and cuirassed busts of Septimius Severus right vis-a-vis laureate, draped and cuirassed busts of Caracalla left. Extremely fine with some original lustre; very rare (R3).
