MID-1ST CENTURY BC-EARLY 2ND CENTURY AD

13 x 10" (4.1 kg, 33x25.5 cm).

A Campana relief sculpture of Victory sacrificing a bull, kneeling with a knife in her right hand, left arm extended to the bull's neck; traces of red colour in the hair; mounted on a red plaster board.

Provenance

Ex Levett Collection, Musée d’Art Classique de Mougins, France; ex Dr. Fritz Reinert Collection, Wien (1912-1996), compiled in the 1930s.
