Roman Cast Glass Aryballos

2ND-3RD CENTURY A.D.

2 1/2 in. (67 grams, 63 mm).

With globular body, short neck with wide rim and iridescent surfaces; lateral loops to the shoulders with bronze suspension loops from the supporting chain.

Ex Mayfair, London, UK, gallery, 1990s-2000s.
From an important collection of glass, the property of a London gentleman.
