Roman Bronze Tall Horse Brooch
2ND-3RD CENTURY A.D.
1 7/8 in. (26.5 grams, 47 mm).
Bow brooch formed as a horse modelled in the round with an elongated neck, notched mane, punched pellet eyes; fore-legs forming the catch, rear legs with a transverse bar and hinged pin beneath. [No Reserve]
