3/4 in. (5.20 grams, 21.89 mm overall, 18.42 mm internal diameter (approximate size British Q, USA 8, Europe 17.49, Japan 16)).
Rectangular plaque with rounded edges, incised legend 'VIC / TOR' with frond between and at each end.

By the second half of the 4th century, broad Roman military belts were decorated with chip-carved mounts and plates. The fittings were realised by punching or by chip carving different patterns and motifs. -
