Roman Bronze Mercury Statuette

1ST CENTURY AD

4 3/4" (159 grams, 12 cm including stand).

A cast statuette of the god Mercury standing nude with a cloak over his left shoulder, coin purse in his right hand, left hand open to hold the caduceus to his shoulder, petasos to his head and winged sandals to his feet; mounted on a custom-made display stand.
