1 7/8 in. (41.38 grams, 48 mm).

Modelled in the round perching on the knop with wings closed and head turned.

    Spiral type rings have been found in the northern Provinces of the Empire, and a very similar specimen, but in silver, was found near Sitten in 1888, inside a Roman grave of Muraz la Sierre. Bronze examples came from the Germanic Limes. They continued models and typologies of Celtic fashion.
