Cabochon with engraved intaglio of Victory standing with wings spread to the rear, one arm extended holding a laurel wreath with ties, frond over one shoulder; supplied with a museum-quality impression. [No Reserve]

The brooch lacks the loop at the apex of the head which is characteristic of true trumpet brooches; its hinged pin did not require this feature which originates in the coiled spring mechanism. -
