Dated 1598. · IACOBVS · 6 · D · G · R · SCOTORVM, armored bust to right / · NEMO · ME · IMPVNE · LACESSIT · 1598, three thistles; crown above. For prototype: SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian) 1263; SCBC 5493. Very Fine. A serial number stamped in reverse field then crossed out.(4.79gr, 29mm, 3h.).
