Western Asiatic Red Burnished Pottery Bowl

2nd millennium BC

A large Anatolian ceramic storage vessel with red glaze and decoration on the shoulder in black pigment with geometric pattern and fish; rolled rim and angled shoulder. 6 kg, 42cm (16 1/2"). Fine condition, repaired.

German collection; acquired 1980s.
