Head of Mars to left, wearing crested helmet ornamented with plume and annulet / Q•THERM•MF (THE and MF ligate), two warriors fighting, each armed with sword and shield; the one on the left protects a fallen comrade, the other wears horned helmet. Crawford 319/1; Sydenham 592; Minucia 19; RBW 1174. Very Fine. Beautiful iridescent toning with amber backlight.(3.81gr, 19mm, 10h.).

    Near Extremely Fine. A sharply struck denarius with Apollo's portrait in high relief and finely detailed reverse. Nice old cabinet toning with hints of golden iridescence.
