Ptolemaic Kingdom of Egypt, Ptolemy II Philadelphos AR Tetradrachm. Undated issue, struck circa 261/0 BC. Uncertain mint 16 in Asia Minor.

Diademed head to right, wearing aegis / [ΠΤΟ]ΛEΜΑΙOΥ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ, eagle with closed wings standing to left on thunderbolt; in left field, Galatian shield with thunderbolt device. CPE 399; Svoronos 607, pl.xiv, 24; Meydancikkale 5198. Very Fine. Exceedingtly rare emission with Galatian shield symbol . No other examples on CoinArchives.(13.06gr, 27mm, 11h.).
