6 in. (18.6 grams, 15 cm).
The central spoon-shaped section, the bowl decorated with a punched floral design framed by crescents, tapering stem, two spoon-shaped shoulders with loops. [No Reserve]

The coastal people of the Jama Coaque, Ecuador, produced highly elaborate sculptures which show us heavily adorned figures who may represent shamans or dignitaries. This example with oversized earrings, complex headdress and ritual implements may represent a shaman conducting an important ceremony. -
