Comprising bifacial knapped leaf, barbed and hollow base arrowhead types, in white quartz; most with a three-digit inked collector number. [8, No Reserve]

The coastal people of the Jama Coaque, Ecuador, produced highly elaborate sculptures which show us heavily adorned figures who may represent shamans or dignitaries. This example with oversized earrings, complex headdress and ritual implements may represent a shaman conducting an important ceremony. -
