Pre-Columbian Inca Painted Wood Kero with Figures
POST CONQUEST, CIRCA 1550-1640 A.D.
5 3/4 in. (335 grams, 14.5 cm).
Carved with bell-shaped base and broad flared stem, horizontal incised rings. slightly rounded rim; bands of painted hatching and geometric motifs to the mouth, foot and shoulder, frieze of profile human figures among fronds and other vegetation. [No Reserve]
