Post Medieval Silver 'En Bon Desir' Posy Ring

CIRCA 17TH-18TH CENTURY A.D.

7/8 in. (6.84 grams, 21.55 mm overall, 18.95 mm internal diameter (approximate size British R 1/2, USA 8 3/4, Europe 19.38, Japan 18)).

Featuring a wide band with floral decoration surrounding a French inscription 'en bon desir' meaning 'in good faith' and two lozenge-shaped panels, each with a robed figure. [No Reserve]
