30" (Wood, brass and iron, 2.3 kg, 76 cm excluding stand).
A finely-made lever crossbow with wrought iron bow slightly recurved to the ends; the tiller solid, square-section with taper to the butt, carved moulding to the lower face and sides; the butt provided with a tubular stock and sturdy cast biconical terminal; the iron lever intact and functional, with bossed peg handle and securing ring, loop for attachment of the hook; the upper face of the tiller with inset brass panel decorated with engraved foliate and geometric designs and hatched lozenges; the iron quarrel guide movable and tiller with balustered finial; supplied with custom-made display stand.
