POST MEDIEVAL GOLD DECORATED RING
(Gold and turquoise, 2.9 grams, 19 mm overall (approximate size British C 1/2, USA 1 1/2, Europe 0.53, Japan 1).).

Later 15th-early 16th century AD. A gold finger ring with plain D-section hoop and expanding shoulders with D-shaped collars; the bezel a cusped quatrefoil with raised borders; the stone an elliptical turquoise cabochon.

PROVENANCE:
From an English collection, property of a North Yorkshire Gentleman; found Gateforth, Yorkshire and disclaimed under the Treasure Act, reference 2008T424.
