1" (4.54 grams, 23 mm overall, 19.01 mm internal diameter (approximate size British R 1/2, USA 9, Europe 19.69, Japan 19)).

A D-section finger ring with plain outer and text to the inner face in seriffed capitals 'BE EVER CONTENT'.

Provenance

Private UK collection, by descent from the vendor's father, who formed his collection in the 1970s-1980s. Part of this collection was previously sold at Bonham's Antiquities sale 17855, 6 October 2010, Lot 199; and in TimeLine Auctions June 2011 sale.
