In medieval Southampton the various forms of pottery included cooking pots with the beaded rim and opposing pair of handles, as it was probably also the specimen presented in this ensemble. Beauvais earthenware is a smooth, fine white fabric with some fine quartz grains. Vessels have a rich lustrous lead glaze and floral designs. -

Pafti (belt buckles) were a typical Balkan adornment, usually round or oval, mainly with floral ornamentation, but sometimes with mother-of-pearl appliqués of Jerusalem, or plates engraved with iconographic scenes.
