POST MEDIEVAL BELLARMINE JAR DATED 1599
(Ceramic, 750 grams, 19 cm.).

Late 16th century AD. A glazed jug with globular body, short neck and flat loop handle; on the front of the neck a male face with long beard; around the circumference three medallions depicting a heraldic shield with foliage surround and plaque bearing the date 1599.

PROVENANCE:
Property of a London Gentleman; acquired before 1975.
