Philistia (Palestine), Uncertain Mint Fourrée Drachm. Mid 5th century-333 BC.

Head of Athena with profile eye to right, wearing disc earring and Attic helmet adorned with olive leaves and pi-style palmette / ΑΘΕ, owl standing to right, head facing the viewer, olive sprig with berry in upper left field, all within shallow incuse square. For prototype: cf. Gitler & Tal VII.1D. Near Very Fine.(3.07gr, 16mm, 3h.).
