Persian Engraved Brass Vessel

20TH CENTURY A.D.

9 in. (463 grams, 22.8 cm).

With tapering body and two lateral strap handles; reserved flower and tendril motifs across the surface with inset foliate panels: Side A - above, kneeling figure among tendrils, below: figure riding a goat; Side B - above: figure crouching among tendrils, below: figure riding a horse; base stamped 'Kinco'. [No Reserve]

From the private collection of a Canadian gentleman living in Essex, UK, formed since the 1920s-circa 1990.
Property of an Essex lady until the late 1990s; thence by descent.
