BRONZE AGE PERSIAN CRIMSON TERRACOTTA RHYTON
(1.08 Kg, 43 cm.).

Circa 1,000 BC. A large horn-shaped vessel with long, curving spout; the terminal in the form of a wolf's head with moulded facial details and snarling mouth.

PROVENANCE:
Purchased from a London auction house in the 1970's.
