North Africa, Carthage AR Quarter Shekel. Second Punic War issue, circa 213-211 BC. Akragas mint under Punic occupation.
Male head to right (Triptolemos?), wearing wreath of grain ears / Horse leaping to right, Punic ḤT below. Burnett, The Enna Hoard, SNR 62, 148-149; SNG Copenhagen 380. Near Extremely Fine. Deep old cabinet tone.(1.99gr, 14mm, 8h.).
