Uncertain Punic mint in Bruttium (or Lokris?) under Carthaginian occupation. Wreathed head of Tanit to left / Horse standing to right. Jenkins, Some L2; Robinson, Second p. 53, 3; HN Italy 2020; SNG Copenhagen 369. Near Extremely Fine. Professionally cleaned and conserved.(1.94gr, 14mm, 7h.).

Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress, paws tied beneath chin / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus seated to left on backless throne, right leg drawn back, his feet resting on a low foot rest, holding long sceptre in his left hand and, in his right, eagle standing to right with closed wings; rose in left field, ΔIO (moneyer's signature) beneath throne.
