A wooden box with sliding lid; the vertical faces carved with geometric schemes and the lid bearing the head, face and arms of a god, eyes set with abalone shell inserts. [No Reserve]

A wooden tribal mask with stylised facial features, headdress of three crocodiles, two female figures carved to either side of the cheeks, bone inlay to forehead and cheeks, texturing to head and facial hair, open mouth with protruding tongue. 8.3 kg, 1.06 m high
