Nepalese Gilt Bronze Avalokita Chitra Vishrama Seated in Rajalalitasana
19TH CENTURY A.D. OR LATER
5 7/8 in. (1.2 kg, 15 cm high).
Modelled in the round; seated cross-legged, supporting his weight on his left arm, left hand pinching the stem of a blossom supporting a vajra above his left shoulder, the right hand resting on his raised knee, clad in opulent jewellery studded with coral and turquoise beads, wearing a lavish crown.
