A group of three Douvilleiceras sp. ammonites, sometimes known as a Goat Horn, polished to reveal rich calcites and striking suture patterns. [3, No Reserve]

From the North-East coast of Madagascar in the jungles of Mahajanga.
Acquired 1950s-1960s.

Classified as an iron meteorite; 111CD Course Octohedrite, the composition is approximately 92% iron, 6% nickel and contains more than ten other minerals including kamacite, taenite, dominate, plessite, schreibersite, triolite, graphite and others. -
