From the Xixia basin, Henan province, China, from the Pradi Collection, Boston, USA; acquired 1980s.
FOOTNOTES:
Hadrosaur (meaning “Bulky Lizard”) was a large duck billed dinosaur 23-32 feet long. It was a bipedal dinosaur with a large brain and a wide and flat snout with strong large hind legs and short but strong front legs with hoof-like claws. It had a muscular tail that may have served as a swimming paddle. It was a vegetarian and moved quadrupedally when feeding. It was highly social and nested communally.
