NATURAL HISTORY - FOSSIL BAHARIASAURUS DINOSAUR TOOTH
CRETACEOUS PERIOD, CIRCA 100-95 MILLION YEARS B.P.
1 1/2 in. (3.73 grams, 37 mm).

From the dinosaur Bahariasaurus ingens, with good enamel and serrations. [No Reserve]

PROVENANCE:
From the Tegana Formation, Sahara Desert, Morocco, North Africa.
Acquired 1980s.
Old Bristol, UK, collection.

FOOTNOTES:
Bahariasaurus ingens was a mid-sized carnivore, and the teeth are different from Carcharodontosaurus in being thinner but having a thicker more triangular X-section.
