Of a man in a landscape filled with flowers and trees, striding triumphantly on his return from a hunt, carrying an ibex over one shoulder and a gun over the other, rolling clouds and birds in flight in the sky above, signed by Amamy to top right; mounted in a glazed wooden frame. 265 grams, 22 x 16.5 cm
Very fine condition.

In medieval Southampton the various forms of pottery included cooking pots with the beaded rim and opposing pair of handles, as it was probably also the specimen presented in this ensemble. Beauvais earthenware is a smooth, fine white fabric with some fine quartz grains. Vessels have a rich lustrous lead glaze and floral designs.
