Mysia, Pergamon AR Tetradrachm. Struck circa 85-76 BC. Kt-, prytanis. Cistophoric standard.
Basket (cista mystica), with half-open lid, from which snake coils, around, ivy wreath with fruits / Two snakes coiled around a bow case ornamented with aplustre; between the snake heads, KT above prytaneis monogram of ΠΡΥ, civic monogram of ΠΕΡ to left, serpent-entwined staff to right. Kleiner, Hoard 38; SNG BnF 1741. Very Fine. Toned.(12.27gr, 27mm, 12h.).
