Medieval 'Virgin Mary' Silver Ring Fragment
1400-1550 A.D.
5/8 in. (0.45 grams, 17 mm).
Rectangular-section fragment engraved with a black-letter inscription consisting of an incomplete cross, a letter (m?), a cross and letter m, which can be summarised as '+m+m', probably referring to the Virgin Mary. [No Reserve]

Found in Breckland, Norfolk, UK, on 26 March 2024; declared as Treasure under the Treasure Act and disclaimed.
Accompanied by a copy of the British Museum's Portable Antiquities Scheme (PAS) report no.NMS-729177.
Accompanied by a copy of a letter from the British Museum disclaiming the Crown's interest in this Treasure find.
