Medieval to Stuart Seal Matrix Collection
14TH-17TH CENTURY A.D.
5/8 - 1 in. (17 grams total, 16-26 mm).
Comprising: a chessman seal matrix with 'I' flanked by two branches; a chessman seal matrix with a cockerel-type bird walking surrounded by the common Anglo-Norman legend PRIVE SV (I am private); a conical seal matrix with loop above, underside formed as four-leaved plant, possibly paris quadrifolia (truelove). [3, No Reserve]
