Medieval Style Solid Silver Jewelled Crown
2014 A.D.
7 5/8 in. (279 grams, 19.5 cm).
A hand-crafted silver crown with fleur-de-lys and cruciform upstands with inset cabochons, rolled rim with band of pointillé above; assayed November 2014; supplied with explanatory note from the maker, the potter Billy Biles, who held the record for pot-throwing.
