7/8 in. (4.11 grams, 22.35 mm overall, 18.15 mm internal diameter (approximate size British Q, USA 8, Europe 17.49, Japan 16)).

Comprising a wide D-section hoop, decorative floral panel to each shoulder, raised oval bezel with floral motif. [No Reserve]

    Found near Finningham, Suffolk, Essex, UK. Property of an Essex gentleman. This lot is accompanied by an illustrated lot declaration signed by the Head of the Antiquities Department, Dr Raffaele D’Amato.

    The crucifix between the antlers shows that this is the stag of St. Hubert or St. Eustace, both of whom witnessed the miraculous apparition of Christ on the Cross between the antlers of a stag.
