Medieval Silver Jewelled Penannular Brooch Pair
12TH-13TH CENTURY A.D.
2 3/4 - 3 in. (42 grams total, 71-74 mm).
Each a round-section penannular shank ending in disc finials with cell and vertical spurs, inset blue glass cabochons, flat pin coiled around the shank; Baltic type. [2, No Reserve]
Provenance
From the private collection of a London gentleman, from his grandfather's collection formed before the early 1970s.
