Set of rectangular carved bone panels each with chamfered rim and recessed panel; ten with a pair of rosettes within roundels flanked by folate motifs; mainly military motifs with nude figures in profile advancing with weapons among trees; larger central panel with four nude warriors confronted with a shield and banner; mounted in a velvet-covered matrix in a gilt wooden frame. 445 grams, 29.1 x 24 cm
