1" (4.78 grams, 26mm overall, 18.72mm internal diameter (approximate size British R, USA 8 1/2, Europe 18.34, Japan 18)).
A large ring with elliptical-section hoop expanding to the shoulders supporting a very large hexagonal pie-dish bezel with scooped upper faces, with inset hardstone cabochon, probably a sapphire.

Found Emsworth, Hampshire, UK, in 2014.

Recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme with reference number HAMP-EBA980; accompanied by a print out of the PAS report.
