MEDIEVAL IRON HEADSMAN'S AXEHEAD
(Iron, 1.9 kg, 35 cm.).

Circa 15th century AD. A hand-forged iron axehead with broad, curved edge and thick hexagonal socket with hole for attachment rivet above, with a Hammerhead smith's mark; with Christies auction ticket attached.
