MEDIEVAL IRON DISC-POMMEL SWORD
(Iron, 1.4 kg, 111 cm.).

Circa 14th century AD. A long sword with hand-forged iron blade, disc pommel of Oakeshott's type H, round-section quillons of type 2; the blade narrow with shallow fuller for most of its length.

From an old English collection.
