A delicate gold finger ring with D-section hoop and decorative lancet panels to the shoulders and elliptical bezel; the shoulders bearing the text 'vere velim' in blackletter script; the bezel with motif of robed and crowned female figure with a wheel in her left hand; English workmanship.

From an old Yorkshire collection; acquired in the 1960's.
