1 in. (4.79 grams, 26.41 mm overall, 18.45 mm internal diameter (approximate size British Q, USA 8, Europe 17.49, Japan 16)).
Comprising a slender D-section hoop with balustered shoulders, ellipsoid cell with garnet cabochon; restored.
ProvenanceAcquired on the European art market in the 1990s.

The crucifix between the antlers shows that this is the stag of St. Hubert or St. Eustace, both of whom witnessed the miraculous apparition of Christ on the Cross between the antlers of a stag. -
