Medieval Gold Love Pendant

15TH CENTURY A.D. OR EARLIER

1 in. (4.26 grams, 24 mm).

A bifacial gold bar bearing a heart-shaped polished garnet and a triangular panel of granulation to each face, albeit with alternate orientations; suspension loops to one long edge.

Provenance

Acquired 1970-2010.
Collection of a late Japanese gentleman.
