3/4 in. (1.80 grams, 19.00 mm overall, 17.21 mm internal diameter ( approximate size British N, USA 6 1/2, Europe 13.72, Japan 13)).
A gold ring with slightly concave hoop with French inscription '* Par bon foy' (in good faith) in Gothic black-letter, stylised flowers between; remains of black inlay. [No Reserve]

Acquired on the UK antiques market between 1974-1985.
