MEDIEVAL GOLD CABOCHON RUBY RING
(Gold, 2.74 grams, 26 mm overall. (Approximate size UK Q½, USA 8½, Europe 18.12, Japan 18).).

Circa 15th century AD. A plain finger ring comprising an expanding flat-section hoop rising to a quadrangular bezel containing a ruby set en cabochon.

PROVENANCE:
Found on the Thames foreshore in the 1970's, recorded with the Museum of London.
