MEDIEVAL GOLD CABOCHON RING
(Gold, 1.86 grams, 23.99 mm. overall (Approximate size British O, USA 7 1/4, Europe 15.48, Japan 15).).

Circa 14th century AD. A gold stirrup finger ring comprising a fine round-section hoop and pyramidal bezel with a pink gemstone set en cabochon.

PROVENANCE:
Found on the Thames foreshore near Southwark Bridge in the 1970's, recorded with the Museum of London.
