3/4" (Gold, 2.34 grams, 18 mm overall (approximate size British L 1/2, USA 6, Europe 11.87, Japan 11)).
A dished gold posy ring with engraved floral symbols separating the three words; inscribed externally in black letter 'Joie Honour Joie', the words only inlaid in white enamel.
Provenance
Property of a Worcester Gentleman; by inheritance; believed found on a river bank footpath near Gloucester, UK, early 1970s.
